Aimly helps you set goals, build habits and track progress. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the control you have over it. The short version: your data exists to power your tracking — we don't sell it, share it, or use it for advertising.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address, and the name you choose to be greeted by. If you create an account with a password, it is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see or store the password itself.
• If you sign in with Google — Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with Aimly. We use them only to create and identify your account.
• Your tracking content — the goals, habits, categories, check-ins, measurements, notes, streaks and XP you create in the app. This is stored so your data syncs across your devices.

That's the complete list. Backup files you export stay wherever you choose to save them — they are never sent to us. Aimly contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics trackers, and does not collect your location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for tracking purposes.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on Google's infrastructure. A copy is cached on your device so the app works offline. Access rules ensure only your signed-in account can read or write your data.

How it's used

Exclusively to operate the app for you: syncing between your devices, calculating streaks and progress, and scheduling the reminders you set. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not sell data, share it with third parties for marketing, or profile you.

Deleting your data

You are in full control:

• In the app: Settings → Delete account permanently erases your account and all synced data from our servers. This cannot be undone.
• Without the app: visit our account deletion page or email us (address below) from your account email.
• Reset all data in Settings clears your content but keeps the account, if you want a fresh start instead.

Children

Aimly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note the new date above.
